Success story based on tradition
In 1962, Dipl.-Ing. Heinrich Kübler founded the company KSR KUEBLER in Stuttgart. Thus, the foundations for the successful history of KSR KUEBLER were laid 60 years ago. The first magnetic switch, which was used in elevators and in automation technology, was followed in 1965 by the magnetic float switch – a product that revolutionised the level measurement market. Other major product developments in KSR KUEBLER's history are the level sensor and also the bypass level indicator. In the early seventies, with the rapid success of the then novel magnetic switch, the company was able to expand beyond the borders of Germany. As a result, Kubler France was founded in Cernay in 1973 and Heinrich Kübler AG was founded in Switzerland in 1976.
In 1996 the company structure was converted into a public limited company: KSR KUEBLER Niveau-Messtechnik AG. At this time, the company expanded outside the borders of Europe with the establishment of the subsidiaries KSR KUEBLER Level Control Products of America, Inc. in the USA, KSR KUEBLER Level Measurement & Control PTE LTD in Singapore and Shanghai Kuebler Automation Instrument Co. Ltd. in China. 2006 saw the acquisition of Phönix Messtechnik GmbH in Frankfurt, and in the following year the integration of Vaihinger Niveautechnik GmbH in Offenbach.
Since 2008, with its various sales subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities in France and China, KSR KUEBLER AG has been part of the WIKA Group and, with its 350 employees worldwide, develops customised solutions in the field of level measurement for its customers. As early as 2013, the company was supported by WIKA's field service, and since 2015, the office support has also been administered through WIKA's head office in Klingenberg. Since then, all offers, order confirmations and invoices have been received directly from WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG. However, deliveries continue to be made from KSR KUEBLER's production site in Zwingenberg, since additional logistics interfaces are avoided in accordance with the actively practised lean philosophy. In 2019, the conversion of KSR KUEBLER Niveau-Messtechnik AG into KSR KUEBLER Niveau-Messtechnik GmbH was completed.

KSR KUEBLER developments are individual solutions for the widest variety of applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the oil and gas industry, shipbuilding, machine building and plant construction, in the food industry, water treatment and environmental engineering. The latest production techniques, uncompromising quality management and numerous national and international approvals are all prerequisites for the highest quality and the company's good name.

KSR KUEBLER Niveau-Messtechnik GmbH manufactures a wide range of level measuring instruments for temperatures up to 450 °C, densities from 400 kg/m³ and pressure ranges to 500 bar. Within the product spectrum, a differentiation can be drawn between products for point level measurement, for continuous level measurement and for the external measurement of level in tanks. Customer-specific special designs complete the comprehensive product portfolio.
The perfect complement can be found in our accessories programme. Among others, this includes a wide variety of electronic equipment required for the evaluation and indication of our sensors. Depending on the version, various standard signals are generated, e.g. 4 - 20 mA, HART, Profibus, potential-free switching outputs. Furthermore we offer magnetic switches which can be used as limit switches. Movements can thus be controlled and a stoppage or low rotation detected. Likewise, it is possible to monitor revolutions and speed. Furthermore, with a suitable arrangement of magnetic switches, it can be used to detect the direction of rotation.

KSR KUEBLER Niveau-Messtechnik GmbH operates internationally from its company headquarters in Zwingenberg in the Neckar Valley. The company employs approx. 200 people in the main factory, split between two production halls, offering a covered production area of 3,665 sqm.
